About Marketing
Our marketing function focuses on communicating the benefits of AstraZeneca and its products to a wide range of audiences, including our employees, our customers, our suppliers and the public at large. The function works closely with external agencies in the areas of PR, design and advertising to develop communications programmes that are tailored to these different audiences.
What does the job involve?
A good understanding of customer needs and the market environment, now and for the future, is key to the successful marketing of our company and our products, and the communication of their benefits. You will be managing communications and building relationships with a range of audiences including medical practitioners, the general public, the media and our internal communities. Within marketing, you will be part of a team making decisions that help shape the market, the products and the company to ensure the successful launch and the sales of our brands.
What kind of qualifications do I need?
You'll need to be educated to degree standard in any subject. We look for highly motivated,self-disciplined people with a flair for communication and influencing. You need to enjoy solving problems and challenges, be able to work as part of a team and have skills and ideas that will help AstraZeneca to promote and maintain its leading reputation among key customers.
